Seasons, Summer/Winter, 4-Way Stretch, Reversible, Removable Top Cover
Don't let the name fool you...this top is simply the best. Found only on our Bed 4 Life 10K3 and 9500 Airbeds, the Seasons Top combines the latest technologies into the part of the airbed you interact with the most: the pillowtop. This is the part of your bed that your body has direct contact with, so we made sure it has the support and comfort to keep you sleeping well for a lifetime.
Summer/Winter
Our Seasons Pillowtop is completely removable and reversible, to greatly improve the wear-and-tear most beds experience. To help you remember to rotate your mattress, we created a Summer side and a Winter side. The Summer side is filled with a Silk/Poly blend to improve heat dissipation and keep you cooler during the Summer months. The Winter side is filled with a Wool/Poly blend for heat retension. You're guaranteed to be comfortable, all year round, and by flipping your mattress pillowtop, you will prevent lumps and settling found in other traditional mattress pillowtops.
Quiltflex
In between these 2 padding layers is a 1" layer of patented Quiltflex™ by Foamex. Quiltflex™ is not made of fiber...it's more like memory foam, only without the visco-elastic properties. Quiltflex™ is sewn right into the pillowtop, inbetween each fiber layer for the summer and winter sides, and serves 2 basic purposes.
- Quiltflex eliminates shifting and "lumping" of the pillowtop material, so your pilloptop will look fresh and new for years to come.
- Quiltflex is designed to eliminate body impressions. This means that your pillowtop will not develop body impressions (or "sag") over time. Your airbed will look new every night.
4-Way StretchOn the outside of all this stuffing is a revolutionary and patented 4-Way Stretch fabric, in place of cheaper and more traditional damask or non-stretchable materials. It would be a shame to invest in all these comfort layers, only to have a non-stretchable fabric on top! We feel that the fabric needs to protect the airbed, but doesn't have to inhibit comfort. This heavy duty, double-stretch fabric is as beautiful as it is durable.
Zipper
We have thought of everything on this pillowtop...right down to the zipper! Think about it: if you're going to remove the pillowtop to clean it or just rotate it (which we encourage you to do!), then you're going to put quite a bit of stress on that poor zipper! We realize that you need a zipper that is durable enough to withstand many removals over the years, and also one that is easy to use for the average person. Our oversized zipper is larger than conventional tailoring zippers, and has a unique lock-free design. Go ahead...zip away!
Convenience
When you think of an airbed like this with a removable, dry-cleanable, pillowtop, it seems like a no-brainer, right? Well, have you considered that most airbed companies keep their pillowtops sewn to the bed? That's right, we are the only company to offer fully removable pillowtops on every airbed. In fact, if anything ever happened to your pillowtop (rip, tear, spill, etc...) you could buy just a new pillowtop and replace it in seconds.
Health
Health is a big concern in our world today. Most people focus on excersize, eating habits, etc... but have you considered the health of your bed, on which you spend up to 1/3 of your life? Traditional mattresses are usually a haven for dust mites, mold, bacteria, and even buildup of your own skin and hair shed over years of use. Not a pleasant picture! Our pillowtop is made of only hypo-allergenic and anti-dustmite materials, from the 4-Way stretch fabric, to Quiltflex and even the Summer/Winter fill fibers.
Plus, because it's removable, if there is ever a concern, just zip it off and send it to the dry cleaners once a year, just to be safe. It's simply the healthiest sleep experience you can buy. Do it for your health!
